Discover your mother, discover yourself in this free community workshop.
Be part of My Mother’s Story’s campaign to tell women’s history in this online writing workshop that starts with the facts of your mother’s life. Using techniques used in dramatic writing you will create a story you can tell with pride, based on the stories you know and those you discover of your family history.
Marilyn Norry, creator of My Mother’s Story, leads this 4-part workshop with exercises and discussions that will stimulate greater creativity. Marilyn was an Almost Live guest in 2021 and shared a sampling of stories with us. Check out the video of that event on the VocalEye YouTube Channel.
