Part of Canada Pride and the biggest Pride season ever!
🌈 What makes Canada Pride 2024 special? The theme “Infinite Horizons” signifies a call to embrace the limitless potential of Canada’s LGBTQ2+ community, echoing our reconnection last year. Hosting Canada Pride allows Vancouver to share the magic of our queer community with the world!
VocalEye has been describing the Vancouver Pride Parade since 2015 in partnership with the Vancouver Pride Society. We’re thrilled to make this event more accessible for the blind and partially sighted community again this summer!
New viewing location this year! The VocalEye Accessible Viewing Zone will be in front of the Roundhouse Community Centre along Pacific Blvd at Davie Street.
There will be shade, but we recommend hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. The seats are hard plastic, so you may want to bring a cushion and whatever you need to be comfortable for the day. VocalEye will supply headsets, beads, tattoos and some snacks. Bottled water and an accessible washroom will be available on site.
Registration is required. Use the link below or reserve your seats and headsets by contacting info@vocaleye.ca or calling 604-364-5949.
Sighted guide meet ups will be available at the Yaletown/Roundhouse Canada Line station. Please book your buddy when you register.

Canada Pride 2024 is coming to town, promising the city’s biggest Pride celebration yet! As we gear up for the season, here are some FAQs about Canada Pride answered to get you excited!
🏳️🌈 What is Canada Pride? Canada Pride is a nationwide celebration of 2SLGBTQAI+ pride and diversity, taking over Vancouver from July 26-August 4. Hosted by the Vancouver Pride Society, in collaboration with Fierté Canada Pride, local LGBTQ2+ organizations and community partners. This year’s festival will feature both in-person and online events, bringing together our vibrant community like never before.
The Infinite Horizons theme symbolizes a call to look beyond the horizon and embrace the limitless potential of Canada’s diverse and vibrant 2SLGBTQAI+ community. This theme challenges societal norms, urging us to adopt a forward-looking perspective and uplift authenticity in a world where queer identities face daily scrutiny. At Canada Pride 2024, discover the boundless journey of “Infinite Horizons” at events like VanPrideFest, the Vancouver Pride Parade, the inaugural Queer Rights Summit and much more.
Vancouver Pride Society brings together members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Two-Spirit and Queer community, their friends, allies and supporters in celebration!
