When Tippi meets Stan, their lives are forever changed. Tippi’s sheltered world is opened by her friendship with Stan, and Stan finds an unlikely ally in Tippi. Tippi & Stan chronicles their quirky and unconventional friendship from Tippi’s point of view with wit, humour and sensitivity. Both absurdly funny and very real, their journey touches on those things that make life worth living.

Dorothy Dittrich is a musician, composer, musical director, writer and playwright. Recent plays include The Piano Teacher (an Arts Club Theatre Silver Commission and Production), Two Part Invention (Kay Meek Theatre’s new play series), Mouthpiece (Commissioned by Kickstart Disability Arts & Culture), When the Moon Falls (Solo Collective Commission), The Dissociates (Sea Theatre) and Lesser Demons (Off The Page Reading Series) and her award-winning musical, When We Were Singing has been produced across Canada and the USA. Dorothy has received numerous Jessie Richardson Theatre awards and nominations for her work.
