We are pleased to announce our official status as a registered charity, effective November 15, 2017.
VocalEye Descriptive Arts Society was founded in 2012 as an independent non-profit organization dedicated to live description and arts accessibility for people who are blind and partially sighted. We thank the Canadian Council of the Blind BC-Yukon Division for their generous fiscal sponsorship from 2013 to 2016, which helped us survive to the point where we could apply for our own charitable number. Thanks also go to VocalEye members and the Board for supporting this application and to all our partners in the community for keeping us going.
