Realwheels’ “Wheel Voices” program nurtures and develops emerging talent in the disability community through storytelling and performance. Professional artists unite with participants from the disability community for a series of workshops. Stories are created, developed and enhanced through theatre, music, visual arts and dance, culminating in a live performance. This year’s theme explores sexual identity from the disability perspective with staging inspired by burlesque and cabaret.
Directed by award-winning Rachel Peake with burlesque choreography by Jenny Magenta, SexyVoices is a celebration of everyBODY! This production aims to break down the stigma surrounding sexuality and disability in dazzlingly original and unexpected ways.
Join us after the show for a guided Touch Tour of the lobby display.
